A toy-clock about time and play
Memento looks like a clock, but it doesn’t aim to teach kids how to read time. Instead, it gently introduces them to the idea that time only moves forward — a kind of Carpe Diem for little ones.
Inside, a hidden mechanism turns the dial clockwise when pulled, accompanied by a soft tick-tock. As the dial moves, small windows on the back reveal passing days and a spinning gear — a visual metaphor for the passage of time.
But what happens if you try to go backward?
Nothing. No matter how hard you try, the toy won’t rewind — because, like time itself, it only goes one way.
